The annual Ironbridge Gorge Walking Festival, running from 5 - 13 May, is a programme of 53 FREE walks in and around the World Heritage Site.
There are a number of ‘themed’ walks ranging from two to 21 miles covering a whole host of topics from the wonderful landscape and geology of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site to the wildlife that inhabits the Gorge’s ancient woodlands. The walks are graded in terms of suitability for walks for everyone through to walks for experienced countryside walkers. 
All walks are free, however pre-booking is essential as numbers are limited to a maximum of 20 people. Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome on some walks, but please check before booking.

Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th May 2018

Supporting Pilgrim Bandits Charity. A weekend back in the 1940s in the beautiful historic Shropshire riverside town of Ironbridge. Loads to do and see in the town and the main display arena, the 20 acres riverside Dale End Park. Living history groups from occupied Europe and the Home Front. 1940s entertainment, Firepower displays and battles. Fairground, food, Modern military displays too. A 1940s pub serving real ale and cider at amazing prices. Entry during the days is free!! Donations to our chosen charity are appreciated. Saturday night grand dance is only £12 a ticket and features the amazing Ashby Little Big band. The Blitz dancers are sure to get you up on your feet

11am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. Free entry to all day time events. Saturday night dance, featuring the Ashby Little Big Band £10 a ticket available from our website. Weekend camping pitches are available for £30 Friday to Monday, available to buy on the website.

Saturday 7th July 2018

Dale End Park will be packed with entertainment, food and activities for Shropfest 2018.
Organiser Jake Hevingham said he had decided to hold the festival in response to V-Fest being cancelled at Weston Park. Headliners for the day include Definitely Oasis, UB40 tribute Jonny2bad and Creamfields resident DJ George Kafetzis.

The line-up will also include tributes to The Verve and Coldplay, and a number of other acts.
Cask ale, gin and street food will also be available on the day.

The event is set to take place from 1.30pm until 10pm on Saturday 7th July.
Tickets are currently available for £13, and will be available for £20 on the door.
Children under 11 will enter for free, and there will be a dedicated section for youngsters including face painting and glitter art.

The Midland Game Fair takes place on the 16th & 17th September 2017 at Weston Park in Shropshire and welcomes lots of family entertainment back into the Main Arena, an array of Grand Finals in many sporting disciplines plus an increasing portfolio of countryside activities for everyone to get involved in and enjoy.
For years the Midland has remained one of the most celebrated and most highly anticipated outdoor events in the National Shooting calendar.

The Shrewsbury Flower Show is an annual event held in mid-August over two days at The Quarry, the main park in the town of Shrewsbury, the county town of Shropshire, England. The show is organized by the Shropshire Horticultural Society and is one of the largest events of its type in the United Kingdom.
