Youngsters will be giving their rendition of “Let It Go” as a Shropshire hotel hosts a Frozen-themed children’s afternoon tea to celebrate the launch of the second film.

Staff at The Best Western Valley Hotel will be hosting the Frozen themed afternoon tea on Sunday, December 1st - following the first screenings of Frozen 2 on November 22nd.

Entertainers from Wish Upon a Princess Parties will be hosting a meet and greet and a sing-a-long with the youngsters.

The idea behind the occasion was to give an alternative party option, as well as creating a fun, relaxed environment for groups of friends, or clubs, to enjoy a pre-Christmas celebration.

Tickets can be bought in groups or individually and it is hoped parents will use the event to enjoy a pre-Christmas get together before the busy month gets under way.

Lisa Snape, sales and marketing manager at the hotel, said they have been considering running something for children for a while, and a pre-Christmas party seemed like the perfect opportunity.

“We find children love our hotel where they can dress up and enjoy our setting with family at parties and celebrations but we wanted to do an event especially for the youngsters.

“We have had enquiries from people wanting a children’s afternoon tea option so they feel as special as when adults enjoy such a treat.

“The boys and girls will get to enjoy the 5 star food from our chefs in our wonderful World Heritage Site setting which all of our other guests do too.

“We want people to come along either as individuals, or a group of friends to our Frozen themed children’s afternoon tea.

“The idea of our afternoon teas is that it’s a completely different experience for little ones. They will get a selection of sandwiches, gorgeous cakes and treats, and all dietary requirements will be catered for,” she said.

The Frozen themed party comes days after the new film - Frozen 2 - is out on November 22nd.

“Places are expected to sell out fast so I would urge anyone who is interested to get a table together or book the individual tickets as soon as possible,” Mrs Snape added.
